COPPER MOUNTAIN TRANSIT

We offer transportation services to the citizens of  Globe/Miami/Claypool

The Town of Miami operates both a Demand and Response (DAR) with one vehicle and a Deviated Fixed Route with two buses. Copper Mountain Transit (CMT) serves Globe, Miami, Claypool and surrounding unincorporated areas of Gila County. Copper Mountain Transit (CMT) is currently the only public transit operator in the Globe-Miami area.

The CMT system provides a needed service in the Globe-Miami area for residents that need transportation to medical appointments, shopping, school and employment.

Who We Are

Copper Mountain Transit (CMT) was formed in July 1987 by the Town of Miami, and has been providing demand response (Dial-A-Ride) transportation services for 36 years. CMT fixed route public bus transportation has been in service for 10 years
